Citizens propose the prospective measures for making the ruling Government more accountable..

This particular category needs to be seriously scrutinized as it provides answers to some really tough administrative questions.

1. Putting in Annual Checks

Close to 70% of the respondents voted for annual checks to be put in place in order to measure the level of confidence that the citizens have in the ruling Government. These steps however would be mere reality checks meant to convey to the Government where they are going wrong and not full fledged elections that determine the change in political administration.


2. Introduction of more measures pertaining to transparency of the system

94% feel there is a serious need for further expansion of laws like the RTI in order to bring about more transparency in the administrative system.


3. Bring in the Professionals

85% of the repondents felt the presence of professionals (business people, scientists, IT Professionals) in specific ministries aligning with their area of expertise would increase the efficiency of the Government.

Close to 70% also advocated the deployment of retired professionals as consultants to the ruling Government.

Adopting a new law like National investgative Agency is a farce and a hoax to gain time. Politicians are fooling us like always. The bill which should be brought is law of " Accountibility and Punishment ". If this law gets passed, the chances of which are nil, you will see immediate results against terror and corruption both.
